Description
Here is a slight guide for new people to learn how to measure a cape.
this isn't really just for 'whitetail' this could be used for other animals for pedestal or shoulder work.
I used my knowledge from taxidermy school how we measured capes and found that to be the most efficient
I did both ways just incase the animal might of been split down the back.
you might have to download it to be able to read and see the numbers
I used autodesk sketchbook to line up the photos
copied it to open canvas 4.5 plus
printscreen back to sketchbook to line out both areas because it wouldnt save.
maybe this will spar some of yall into working on some shoulder mounts
we need more deer around here.

Cool Is this the same way you would measure a fox or coyote for a shoulder mount?
